Agata Tesmer (b. 1998) is an active student of art conservation and restoration in Torun. In 2018, she graduated from the Lyceum of Fine Arts in Rypin with a diploma in computer graphics, but at present she is primarily engaged in oil painting. Her main source of inspiration is the work of artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, often combining the anxieties and gloom of everyday life with literary fantasies and the world of dreamy mirages. As a formal issue, she is particularly interested in the nocturne, nocturnal compositions that seem to engulf the figures depicted on them in darkness.
