Jarek Mankiewicz - born in Lublin in 1980. Graduate of the Graphic Arts Department of the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Diploma in printmaking (etching) in the Gravure Print Studio under Prof. Artur Popek.

He creates paintings in the style of geometric abstraction inspired by selected and reconstructed elements of the surrounding world.

In his works, what comes to the fore is the layering and the relations occurring between the layers, their geometry, form and, above all, space resulting from the use of the laser medium, thanks to which the paint is not fully opaque. Successive layers intermingle to create an additional impression of depth.
