Katarzyna Biskupska - (born 1970, Toruń).
Lives and works in the forest wilderness in Bory Tucholskie.
With her soul she moves between poetry, music, sculpture, however, she loves painting the most.
She is not a trained artist. She has great humility about her work, for she thinks, not knowing where art with a capital "SZ" begins, that it is relative and every created object will find its audience.
Her love for creating painted stories on canvas allows both her and the viewer to move somewhere from, but also to. In the multitude of everyday affairs, their speed, it is in art that one can be somewhere calmer for a moment, somewhere to reflect and stop.
Many of the author's paintings give them personality, which allows one to relax in their presence.
She creates mainly on canvas and wood in acrylic but also in oil and mixed techniques.
Katarzyna Biskupska's paintings are in every corner of the world from the USA, Canada, Japan through Paris, London and finally in various nooks and crannies of larger and smaller Poland.

Events among others:
in 2003-2005 she was co-author and performer of a series of exhibitions and concerts, a project entitled: "I was who you are, I am who you can be".

She often says that painting is intimacy with another human being in merriment or sadness, and reflective view of the world, people, emotions, animals and the multilayeredness of life.
