Valeria Kapan- interdisciplinary artist.
Valeria is a versatile visual artist who began her creative path with the art of tattooing, which she pursued for over ten years. Over time, her passion for experimentation and the search for new forms of expression shifted to other media and techniques.
She graduated from the A.M. Shirokov Institute of Modern Knowledge with a degree in fashion design, where she developed her skills in visual arts and gained a solid theoretical and practical foundation. Currently, her main medium is her original sculptural constructions, created in a unique technique combining gypsum and metal, which balance between form and abstraction.
Although gypsum-metal constructions form the core of her work, Valeria also successfully experiments with other techniques - from painting to installations to mixed forms. Her work explores the relationship between matter, space and emotion, creating objects that intrigue in both form and concept.
Her work is an invitation to reflect on transformation, permanence and fragility - both physically and spiritually.
