Copperplate, paper, 31.5 x 46.5 cm; signed l.d.: "Swebach del" and p.d.: "Bovinet sculp". Light browning of margin edges, upper white margin has six small thread punctures from former binding. Good condition.
A very famous print shown in many books. To this day its reproduction is offered by publishers. Its advantage is that it was published several years after the fall of Napoleon. Thus, it is a graphic from the era of the depicted event. It was transferred to the plate by Edme Bovinet (1767-1832).
